RoHS and Pb-free Program
Silicon Standard is very close to 100% RoHS compliance in line with international directives for the elimination of harmful materials in the environment.
For the most part, our packaging subcontractors are all using molding compounds, internal construction and first-layer interconnects which comply with RoHS requirements.
For second-layer interconnect (2LI), we are converting all of our products to Pb-free plating. Most of our products are already converted, and we are very close to complete conversion of the rest. In most cases, backwards compatibility with traditional Pb/Sn eutectic processing has been established.

We have indicated in our products pages those components which have already been supplied with Pb-free SLI, but the list continues to increase real-time. Look for the symbol .
